School Lunches

At Sythwood we believe that a healthy balanced diet plays a huge part in our children's ability to arrive in the classroom ready to learn.  Our caterers, Cucina IFG https://impactfood.co.uk/, provide a varied menu each week including a salad bar. The current menu is available at the bottom of this page. Please choose your school meals using the Impact Food App. Please refer to Food Ordering Handbook for parents below for further information.

Payment

Under the Government's Universal Free School Meal scheme all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to daily free school meals.

The cost of a meal in Nursery and Years 3 to 6 from 1st April 2024 is £3.00 per day, £15 per week per child.

Parents of children in Nursery and Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 who choose to have a school meal must pay in advance, you will not be able to order without credit on your account. Please kindly remember to keep your Impact Food App dinner money account in credit. 

You must have signed up to the Impact Food App to be able to choose and pay for school meals.

Free School Meals

Your child may be entitled to Free School Meals. Please check with the school office if you think you may be eligible and/or if you require an application form. If you want to find out more about free school meals eligibility, please visit the Government website www.gov.uk/apply-free-school-meals
