- Children with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities
If your child has additional needs, and is remaining home during this period, we want to let you know that we are here to help!
All teachers are posting weekly learning challenges for their year group, when doing this they will be taking into account any additional needs the children may have. However, in some instances, you may feel that the activities are not as appropriate for your child. In the first instance, contact your child’s teacher, it may be that he/she can give you some advice on how to adapt the challenge, in other instances they may refer you to look at the challenged on another year group’s page.
Every Tuesday, we will also be adding alternative learning challenges to the documents section on this page, so feel free to give these a go instead. If things are still a bit of a challenge, or you need further advice, please contact your child's teacher or one of us.
We have collated and created a selection of social stories, and other resources to help your child during this time, please browse our downloads to see what is on offer.
At the bottom of this page, you will see images that provide links to further resources and support for children with SEND and their families.
We look forward to seeing you all again as soon as possible.
