Year 1 have been exploring their senses in Science and have been using popcorn as part of their learning. Today, they even cooked popcorn in a pan on a portable hob!

The children felt the kernels before they were cooked, listened carefully to the popping sounds and enjoyed the delicious smell as the popcorn was made. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that helped them use their senses in a real life context.
