Mr Knights and Mr Pincolini (parent volunteer) took 12 year 5/6 children to Metro Bank Windsor for a business enterprise day run by Enabling Enterprise. The aim of the trip was to help children develop key skills (below) and learn about why we have banks and what it would be like to work in one.
The children loved it and apart from the minibus flat tyre and the broken parking ticket machine, the adults loved it too. On returning to school the children told their friends that they saw where the Queen lived, that they saw gold bars worth millions of pounds and that they ate Subway sandwiches for lunch :-)
It was a great day and the children were a credit to our school.
