This half term, our project homework focuses on our history learning about 'Crime and Punishment'. Your child's project is due in on Monday 5th February 2024.

Weekly Homework

Reading

In Year 6, we are passionate about reading and expect children to read at home five times a week. We allow the children to complete their own reading diary which must be brought into school every day. 

Spellings

Click here for the Year 5/6 spelling words. You can really help your child by help them to practise their spellings at home and by encouraging them to use the words when you talk to them.

Maths 

Throughout the year we will focus on different maths facts. Once they become automatic for children it will allow them to quickly recall the facts when completing more complex maths equations.

Weekly Homework

Every Friday, your child will bring home some maths and SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) homework. This will be due in the following Tuesday.
